Bistro Casanova is the offspring of Casanova Italian Restaurant and Deli in Makawao, an Upcountry institution. Bistro Casanova opened its doors on 09/09/09 in the location previously known as Manana Garage. 

The renovation has been extensive.

Bistro Casanova is smooth, elegant, exquisite and fun. Maui artists Piero Resta, Dario Campanile, Marcello and Alessio Gubaian (the Twins) and Ana Gaion contributed their art work to the serenity of the place. Maui glass blower Rick Strini especially created the light fixtures. A tropical landscaping refreshes the air surrounding the outside al fresco tables.

A private dining room hosting up to 30 people offers a tasteful environment for business meetings, community gatherings and private parties.

Bistro Casanova offers northern Mediterranean fare, its roots coming from the Cinque Terre in Italy (where the owner comes from) and extending to Barcellona Spain, thru the delights of the Provence, in Southern France. Organic, locally grown ingredients are used extensively as well as Maui grown local beef and the freshest fish from Maui's ocean. It's a fusion of old world traditional flavors and Pacific cuisine.

Bistro Casanova's location makes it a perfect destination for business lunches, day dating and quick moments of delights in between Kahului's or Wailuku's errands.

In the afternoon Bistro Casanova is a favorite spot for Pau hana (Happy hours from 4pm to 6pm) relaxation, watered by specialty martinis, a wide selection of beers, a creative offering of wines by the glass. Caraffes of mojiito and margaritas make Bistro Casanova an ideal stop for after hours business parties. 

The weekly changing selection of tapas (small dishes, available after 3pm) can be a tasty complements to your drinks, a perfect opening line for your dinner, or...dinner itself.

At dinner, Bistro Casanova is  a romantic destination for intimate meals before or after a show at the MACC or a nearby Movie theatre and the perfect stop before flying out of Maui or after picking up a friend landing in nearby Kahului's airport.

Home made pastas, fresh fish specials and a large selection of beef cuts in different available sauces and preparations are a great alternative to Bistro Casanova signature dishes: Paella and Bouillabaisse.

Crepes, savory and sweet, as well as Tiramisu are there all day to tempt you to indulge to a moment of weakness.
